Comfort Keepers Mission
Our mission is to provide our clients with elder care at home to give them the highest level of quality of life that is achievable. We shall treat each of our clients with the respect and dignity they deserve, as though we were caring for a member of our own family.
The special people who deliver our unique brand of in-home elder care (We call them Comfort Keepers®.) are carefully selected, screened, and trained to provide professional, compassionate elder care at home.
Matt and Becky Cross' story is inspired by Matt's grandfather. Years ago, he began needing someone to come to his house and assist him with a few small tasks. Living in a rural area and unaware of in home care options, he ended up spending his last days in a nursing home. This prompted Matt to start researching online, and he came across Comfort Keepers. In 2003, Matt and Becky founded their own branch of Comfort Keepers, and they have been proudly providing elder care services to Abilene, Buffalo Gap, Merkel, and the surrounding areas of Texas ever since. Becky now runs day to day operations, where her passion for caring for people shines through in all she does.
Interactive Caregiving™ is based on four primary pillars, which Comfort Keepers home care providers leverage to care for, engage, and interact with our clients:
- An active senior mind promotes independence, better mental and physical health, happiness, and a longer life.
- A physically active senior maintains strength and independence, lessening or delaying the effects of aging.
- A well-nourished senior is more energetic, both physically and mentally.
- A safe senior lives in an environment that reduces the likelihood of accidents and promotes timely response when illness or accidents occur.
With our Interactive Caregiving approach, we are able to raise seniors’ quality of life to a much higher level than typical providers of elder care at home.
Comfort Keepers provides quality elder care at home, giving families peace of mind!
